Additionally serving as an Associate General Counsel for the Florida Police Benevolent Association, Ms. Blanca Torrents Greenwood serves as an advisor to the association President on all aspects concerning the association’s mission, in addition to developing and maintaining business relationships with local government and business partners.
Ms. Greenwood earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Miami in 1988, and her Juris Doctorate in 1991 from the University of Miami School of Law. While obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree, she was selected for the Law School Summer Honors Program at UM. She also served as the President of the Hispanic Law Students Association, and on the Executive Board of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Organization.
Ms. Greenwood was also the University of Miami School of Law Mock Trial Champion, representing the university in national trial competitions. She was selected as a National Member of the Order of the Barristers, representing excellence and high honor in court advocacy.
